Marchesa Launching Wedding Dress-Inspired Rings at Helzberg
The fashion brand famed for its wedding gowns is launching “Marchesa Radiant Star” featuring Helzberg’s signature diamond cut.

New York--One of the biggest names in bridal wear is lending its romantic touch to diamond engagement rings.
Marchesa, the evening wear and bridal label designed by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, is launching a fine jewelry bridal collection exclusive to Helzberg Diamonds this month.
“The Marchesa bride is confident, elegant and embodies a true sense of identity,” said Chapman and Craig via their public relations team. “The Marchesa Radiant Star Collection is an extension of that feeling, providing the perfect finishing touch for a bride not only on her special day, but every day.”
Marchesa Radiant Star features Helzberg’s patented Radiant Star diamonds as center stones. Radiant Star diamonds are cut with 145 facets and “offer spectacular fire, sparkle, and three times the reflective surface of traditional 58-facet diamonds,” said Chapman and Craig.
The 18-piece collection features two cuts of the Radian Star diamond: round and square. Each of the rings is rendered in 14-karat gold, with most styles featuring smaller accent diamonds alongside the center stones.
While there are a few plain, solitaire styles to be had, most of the offerings employ intricate detailing and metalwork. Chapman and Craig explained, “We focused on bringing the memorable details and unique designs that our customers love about Marchesa to this collection. Embellishment and lace are central to our couture and bridal collections, and designing this jewelry collection felt like an extension of that same idea.”
“This collection reflects the essence of the dress details--intricate lace, fine beading and subtle textures coupled with our 145-facet Radiant Star diamond,” concurred Helzberg Diamonds Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer Julie Yoakum.
“Each ring has a romantic and individual design,” she added. “The woman who chooses a diamond ring from the Marchesa Radiant Star collection has a clear sense of who she is.”
Yoakum said that the partnership between Marchesa and Helzberg was “a natural fit.”
“Marchesa is a very aspirational brand, and we love that Georgina and Keren are passionate about bridal,” she explained. “Our Radiant Star diamond paired with the elegance of Marchesa is a very exciting launch in the wedding ring category.”
Since its inception in 2004, Marchesa has branched into several categories beyond clothing, including handbags, shoes and fashion jewelry. In 2015, the brand began selling a fine jewelry collection at Macy’s, via an ongoing partnership with the department store.
