Events in the jewelry industry were all over the map this week, including a cocktail reception to launch a jeweler’s partnership with an art museum in Florida, a press preview in New York and a professional athlete stepping out at a Rado store in London.
Charles Johnson, a former Major League Baseball player, and his wife Rhonda attended the Levinson Jewelers cocktail reception to support the company’s partnership with the Young At Art Museum.
Events in the jewelry industry were all over the map this week, including a cocktail reception to launch a jeweler’s partnership with an art museum in Florida, a press preview in New York and a professional athlete stepping out at a Rado store in London.
Levinson Jewelers kicked off its partnership with the Young At Art Museum by hosting an event at their flagship store in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for donors, board members and gala committee members, as well as a few other notable guests in attendance.
Meanwhile in New York, fine jewelry brand Armenta held a press preview at the Plaza Hotel on Tuesday, where National Jeweler’s editors got the chance to see pieces the company will launch at the Couture show in Las Vegas next month.
In London, professional tennis player Andy Murray took time out of his busy training schedule to meet with fans at the Rado Hour Passion store.

Also in attendance at the Levinson Jewelers event was Rebecca Bratter, pictured left, a Young At Art member and donor. With her is Maxine Jacobowitz, a friend and guest for the event.
At the Plaza Hotel Tuesday, National Jeweler’s editors saw new pieces from Armenta, including these bracelets. The two on the far right are from the Fall 2014 Old World collection; the other is an 18-karat gold bracelet with black diamonds from the Sueno collection.
Also in Armenta’s Fall 2014 Old World collection is this ring, which features a lapis and white quartz doublet and diamonds, made in oxidized sterling silver and 18-karat gold.
Rado provided Andy Murray with a specially branded cab to take him from the Queen’s Club in West London, site of the upcoming Aegon Championships tennis tournament, to the Hour Passion store in the West End.
Murray poses with Rado CEO Matthias Breschan at the Hour Passion store, where he met with fans for 77 minutes, a nod to Murray being the first British man in 77 years to be the singles champion at the Wimbledon tournament in 2013.
