Jewelers Unblocked Partnering with Dog Rescue Group
The Tess McIntyre Foundation provides financial support for organizations and veterinarians dedicated to helping abandoned golden retrievers and other breeds.

New York--Insurance company Jewelers Unblocked has a new charitable partner, one that is very, very close to the heart of the company’s president and CEO.
The Tess McIntyre Foundation provides financial support for organizations and veterinarians that treat and help to find homes for abandoned golden retrievers and other breeds of dog.
Jewelers Unblocked President and CEO Patricia Low started the organization with her husband, Bill McIntyre, in 2015, naming it after their rescued golden retriever Tess, who died at the age of 2 when she ran into the side of a moving car.
As part of its new partnership with the nonprofit, Jewelers Unblocked was able to help the TMF support the treatment of a 1-year-old golden retriever named Adami, who was rescued from a dog meat market in Asia.
The foundation aided the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue with heartworm treatment for Adami as well as with the dog’s hospital stay. And, he has found a new home.
Jewelers Unblocked said it chose to partner with TMF because “the emotional bond that families share with their beloved pets is similar to the unique relationship that human beings share with beloved pieces of jewelry and family heirlooms.”
“Cruelty to animals is intolerable,” said Low. “Our partnership with the Tess McIntyre Foundation can make a lasting difference in the lives of exploited or abandoned dogs, as well as stimulate long-lasting, meaningful relationships for families with rescue dogs.”
Low and her husband started the TMF in August 2015, and said they will use the donations from Jewelers Unblocked to increase the amount of aid they provide to rescue operations.
