With TV Proposal, Parade Ring Put in the Spotlight
A visually impaired man appeared on The Rachael Ray Show to receive a pair of eSight sunglasses and surprised his girlfriend with an on-air proposal in the process.

New York--Parade Design got to be a part of one couple’s very public special moment, as the brand played a role in an on-air television proposal last month.
Hunter Tribe and his girlfriend, Brittney Reed, appeared on The Rachael Ray Show in February so that he could improve his vision with an eSight electronic device.
Tribe suffers from a degenerative eye condition that prevented him from ever seeing his girlfriend clearly. So Reed wrote in to the show, asking them to help her boyfriend get a pair of eSight sunglasses.
After he put them on and spent some time adjusting to his improved vision, Tribe surprised his girlfriend by asking her to marry him.
The ring that Tribe proposed with was from Parade Design’s Hemera bridal collection, featuring twists of diamonds in 18-karat white gold, finished with milgrain detailing and Parade’s signature Lyria Crown setting for the center stone. (It retails for $1,925 without the center stone.)
After he popped the question and Reed said yes, Tribe proposed something else--that they get married on the show just days later.
Reed said yes a second time, and so the couple planned their wedding on the show throughout the week and got married during a live ceremony on the Feb. 19 episode of Rachael Ray.
Hunter, too, got a Parade ring during the wedding, receiving an 18-karat white gold band as the couple exchanged vows they wrote themselves.
