Blue Nile Now Selling Some Estate Jewelry
The e-tailer is starting out small with a collection of just 13 pieces from designers including J.E. Caldwell and Marina B.

Seattle--Blue Nile has launched its Extraordinary Estate Jewelry Collection, a first-of-its-kind initiative for the retailer that includes 13 inaugural pieces, all but two of which retail for less than $100,000.
The e-tailer said its jewelry experts handpicked each piece, examining them for quality, originality and craftsmanship. The collection includes creations from well-known designers such as Marina B. and J.E. Caldwell.
The line includes Victorian-era diamond earrings in 18-karat white gold with 3.30 carats of old European-cut diamonds and filigree detailing for $8,000 and a retro mesh bracelet in 14-karat yellow gold finished with sapphires and round, brilliant-cut diamonds priced at $4,450.
It also includes a vintage double-chain necklace with 24 heart-shaped cabochon blue sapphires and 63 round, brilliant-cut diamonds in textured 18-karat yellow gold ($10,500); diamond cluster earrings from the 1950s set in 14-karat white gold with more than 5 carats of brilliant marquise and pear-cut diamonds ($13,250); and an Art Deco diamond drop necklace in platinum set with a 3.47-carat emerald-cut diamond.
The collection also includes a Zambian emerald and diamond statement necklace ($930,000) and matching drop earrings ($120,000) in 18-karat yellow gold. As part of a contemporary set designed by Marina Bulgari, the pieces can be purchased together or separately.
