The JIS March Show Is Changing Its Dates
It’s back to its previous April date pattern.
Norwalk, Conn.—Now that the Miami Beach Convention Center renovation is completed, Jewelers International Showcase continues to move its jewelry trade shows back to their original schedules.
This year, its second show will take place from April 16 to 18. Called the JIS April Show, it had to be re-scheduled to March last year to accommodate the renovation.
“The opportunity to move the dates of the show back to mid-April is a big win for attendees and exhibitors,” said Jordan Tuchband, industry vice president of JIS shows. “The new dates are much more ideal for seasonal Mother’s Day buying, will significantly lower travel expenses and increase the diversity of product available for purchase on the show floor.”
JIS called its April event its “most intimate” and the perfect opportunity for jewelers to re-stock before summer.
Earlier this month, the organization moved its January show back to its original dates, also because of the completion of the Miami Beach Convention Center renovation.
Created to service the trade in the southeastern United States, Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America, JIS also holds a Florida trade show in October, as well as JIS Exchange during Las Vegas market week.
