GemFind Launches E-Commerce Version of DiamondLink
The new version of the app allows jewelers to sell diamonds online directly from vendors.
The new version of diamond sourcing app DiamondLink is available for WordPress, Magneto 2.0, and Shopify platforms.
New York—GemFind announced an e-commerce version of its DiamondLink app earlier this month, allowing jewelers to sell diamonds online directly from vendors.
Retailers can curate a list of diamond suppliers using the sourcing app.
The vendors will supply the wholesale prices and retailers have the ability to mark up the diamonds based on costs or size of the diamonds, explained GemFind CEO Alex Fetanat in an email to National Jeweler Thursday.
GemFind doesn’t take a commission, only a service charge for the technology, he said.
“The DiamondLink E-Commerce edition enables retailers to compete at the same level with major diamond selling websites, while taking advantage of the unique customization of their diamond inventory,” said Fetanat in a press release.
Retailers are able to sell diamonds without owning them, providing direct dropship options from the diamond companies to the customer, said GemFind.
The app offers data analytics as well, sharing information about who was looking at the diamond list and when.
Automatic currency conversion will widen the customer base to international shoppers.
“Jeweler-curated virtual diamond inventory, coupled with critical online tools, will develop significant traffic and sales,” said Fetanat.
It also offers digital marketing tools, including web development and social media, as well as a virtual ring builder.
The new version of the app is available for WordPress, Magneto 2.0, and Shopify platforms.
