Bad Bunny Wears Football-Shaped ‘Desert Diamond’ for Halftime Performance
Lady Gaga, Cardi B, and Karol G also went with diamond jewelry for Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show honoring Puerto Rico.

Bad Bunny’s performance represented many facets of the U.S. territory, from its sugar cane fields to the coquí frog, the power outages Puerto Rican citizens face, and the Puerto Rican diaspora in New York City.
Along with the performance’s nods to Puerto Rico was Bad Bunny’s choice of jewelry, a single Desert Diamond stud that paid tribute to where the performance took place—on the field of the biggest football game of the year.
He wore the stud by designer Marvin Douglas, a CFDA x Tiffany & Co. Jewelry Design Award finalist whose designs incorporate references to his Salvadorian roots, in his left ear.
The 18-karat yellow gold earring featured a 2-carat, honey-colored marquise-cut diamond inspired by the shape of a football.
“I wanted him to have something personal and unique that would always symbolize this milestone performance,” Douglas said.
Bad Bunny also wore an Audemars Piguet watch that peeked out from beneath the sleeve of his cream-colored Zara blazer.
Underneath his blazer he wore jersey featuring his family name, Ocasio, and the number 64, a reference to the birth year of his late uncle Cutito, who taught him about the NFL, according to Vogue.
The timepiece was the “Royal Oak” self-winding watch with an 18-karat yellow gold bracelet.
The malachite stone dial has 18-karat yellow gold hands, hour-markers with luminescent material, and a yellow gold-toned inner bezel.
Lady Gaga, pictured above, made a cameo during the halftime show, performing alongside Bad Bunny for a mariachi version of her song “Die With a Smile” that debuted in 2024 as a duet with Bruno Mars.
The singer wore a pair of high jewelry earrings by Chopard. The earrings featured 11.18 carats of diamonds set in 18-karat white gold.
Lady Gaga styled the jewels with a blue dress designed by Brooklyn-based Dominican-American designer Raul López of Luar and a floral brooch showcasing the flower of Puerto Rico, the Flor de Maga.

Fellow Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin also joined Bad Bunny, singing “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii.”
He styled a single cool-toned hoop on his left ear with a collection of bracelets on both wrists. Full information on his jewelry was unavailable by press time.
Many other celebrities were spotted dancing in the background during Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
Jessical Alba, Pedro Pascal, Cardi B, Karol G, Young Miko, and more were seen outside of La Casita, a staple part of the set during Bad Bunny’s “No Me Quiero Ir de Aqui” residency in San Juan, Puerto Rico last year.

Standing outside La Casita, Cardi B was seen wearing the “Diamond Squad” high jewelry necklace by Messika.
The necklace features 39 carats of diamonds set in 18-karat white gold.
Karol G wore multiple pieces from Le Vian, most notably its cross pendant showcasing “Chocolate” diamonds set in 14-karat “Honey” gold.
She also wore the brand’s diamond chain with nude-colored diamonds in 18-karat Honey gold and the “Ombré” bangle with Chocolate diamonds and 14-karat Honey gold.
Karol G paired her Le Vian jewels with hoop earrings by Noudar.
Bad Bunny concluded his performance by naming every country in the Americas from North America to South America and the Caribbean while each flag was paraded behind him as he held a football that read, “Together, We Are America.”
As the show concluded, the jumbotron at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, flashed a message: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
