Bob’s Watches to Open Store in New York’s JFK Airport
The boutique is slated to open this week inside Terminal 8, offering pre-owned Rolex watches and more to international travelers.

The location is set to open on Dec. 19 inside Terminal 8, the airport’s primary international terminal.
Bob’s Watches also has stores in the Abu Dhabi Airport and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
It also has brick-and-mortar locations in Newport Beach, California, as well as Miami and Naples, Florida.
“With a global customer base, having a presence in an international terminal also gives customers from around the world the opportunity to see and experience the collection in person before purchasing,” said Carol Altieri, chief operating officer of Bob’s Watches.
JFK Airport is one of the busiest travel hubs in the world, with 63.3 million travelers passing through in 2024, according to The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Travelers can buy pre-owned Rolex watches as well as other brands at the boutique, with a duty-free shopping option for international travelers.
The location was designed with how people shop while traveling in mind, said Altieri.
“The assortment is more curated and focuses on pieces that feel current and are in excellent condition. In an airport setting, customers value simplicity and confidence, so the experience is meant to be easy to navigate while still reflecting the standards the brand is known for,” she said.
Every watch in the store will be authenticated by Bob’s Watches in-house experts and backed by its verification process, said the company.
“JFK Terminal 8 serves a global audience of frequent flyers, collectors, and luxury consumers, making it a natural extension of Bob’s Watches’ mission to meet customers where they are,” said the retailer.
Bob’s Watches said it’s looking to connect with international shoppers and collectors passing through the terminal.
“The combination of duty-free pricing, immediate availability, and expert guidance creates a compelling alternative to both traditional retail and online only shopping,” said the company.
The timing of the opening coincides with the peak holiday travel season.
“By opening just days before Christmas and bringing trusted pre-owned luxury into an airport environment, the brand is redefining how travelers engage with high-end timepieces and expanding the possibilities of where luxury resale can thrive,” said Bob’s Watches.
Interest in watches remains strong, said Altieri, noting healthy demand from long-time collectors and first-time buyers alike.
“The desire for immediate availability and transparency continues to resonate with customers and supports continued momentum in the pre-owned market,” she said.
