Nick Jonas Gets Nostalgic in New Fossil Campaign
The Jonas Brothers star showed off new timepieces against the backdrop of his favorite spots in his home state of New Jersey.

Jonas, a singer, songwriter, actor, and philanthropist, began his career with his two brothers in the band the Jonas Brothers.
After starting in 2005 and coming back in 2019, the band—that was popular amongst teens in the 2010s and was synonymous with Disney and Nickelodeon at the time—is currently on tour for its Grammy-nominated album “Greetings From Your Hometown.”
The tour, which celebrates the Jonas Brother’s 20th anniversary, kicked off in the Jonas family’s home state of New Jersey earlier this month.
The nostalgic Fossil campaign features Jonas in New Jersey participating in activities that marked his childhood, including going to the bowling alley and visiting local diners. A portion of the campaign was photographed at the Colonial Diner in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
It is a nod to his childhood that Fossil said will reignite the same nostalgic memories in customers, reminding them of small and monumental moments alike throughout their lives.
“Nick Jonas has a genuine love for watches and an authentic connection with [the] Fossil brand, it having been his first watch,” said Melissa Lowenkron, chief brand officer of Fossil.
“There’s a sense of nostalgia and personal style he brings to the design—rooted in his own journey—that we know will resonate with fans and collectors alike.”
The Nick Jonas x Fossil campaign was shot by creative director and photographer Anthony Mandler and styled by celebrity image maker Sydney Lopez.
The campaign is accompanied by a collaborative collection of limited-edition timepieces that blend Jonas’ passion for watch collecting, his distinct personal style, and the Fossil brand.
“Collaborating with the Fossil design team has been a dream come true,” said Jonas.
“I still remember the excitement and pure joy I felt when I purchased my first Fossil watch shortly after one of my early performances. I wanted to capture that feeling for today’s customers and give them styles that feel elevated and luxurious but still embody the nostalgia synonymous with Fossil.”
The “Nick Jonas x Fossil” collection includes seven “Machine Luxe” watches and two watch rings.
The new sunray dial watches include a blue vignette that Jonas paired with a brown croc-embossed leather strap to echo a piece from his personal collection.
The stone dial offerings are available in aventurine, marble, and malachite.
Notably, malachite is one of the materials that have been gaining traction as designers look to more budget-friendly gemstones in the face of rising gold prices and tariffs.
The Nick Jonas x Fossil campaign can be seen on Fossil’s website and social media.
The collection debuted online on Aug. 20 and will be available at select retailers in September.
Earlier this year, Austin Butler joined Breitling as a brand ambassador. Butler, who began his career with acting roles on Disney and Nickelodeon was another popular star at the time that the Jonas Brothers were at the height of fame and starred in multiple episodes of the band’s Disney Channel series “Jonas.”
