Borsheims Names New Assistant IT Manager
David Fager, a former systems engineer at the retailer, was promoted to the role.

Fager joined the company in 2023 as a systems engineer, and was chosen for the role due to his expertise in problem solving and project management, said Borsheims.
“We are thrilled to promote David to assistant IT manager,” said Sunil Luthra, chief operating officer at Borsheims.
“Since joining the team, David has shown an impressive work ethic and a willingness to grow and adapt. I have full confidence in his ability to contribute to the department’s continued success and to take on new challenges in this exciting leadership role.”
In his new role, Fager will be tasked with assisting in the daily management of the IT team, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that Borsheims’ network and systems are running efficiently.
Borsheims highlighted his commitment and eagerness to learn and to support its technological growth, while building on his leadership skills.
Fager is currently completing his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from the Metropolitan Community College.
Borsheims also recently promoted longtime employee Kyle Slosson to senior security and facilities manager.
Owned by Berkshire Hathaway, the 155-year-old retailer is one of the largest independent jewelry stores in the U.S.
