Woman Killed in Armed Robbery of Sacramento Jewelry Store
Local reports identified the woman as the wife of the jewelry store owner.

In a Nov. 15 post on X, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a robbery at Kim Tin Jewelry on Stockton Boulevard.
Officers said the suspects are believed to be four to six men who arrived and left in two separate vehicles.
Robbery detectives were on the scene alongside the crime scene investigators, said authorities.
The woman, identified in local reports as the wife of the business owner, was transported to the hospital where she later died, according to authorities.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Amar Gandhi told the Sacramento Bee that deputies had not determined who shot the woman, but it is believed that the business owner fired toward the suspects and that they presumably fired back.
As of Friday, officials did not know if the perpetrators had been injured, and they remain at large. They also did not know how much was taken during the robbery.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office did not respond to National Jeweler’s request for comment.
