Richemont Shuffles Leadership at Vhernier
The luxury giant recently completed its acquisition of the Italian jewelry brand.

The luxury giant appointed Gianluca Brozzetti, executive vice president of Richemont-owned Buccellati, to Vhernier’s board of directors as executive vice president in an ad-interim CEO role.
Brozzetti stepped down from his role as Buccellati CEO in February after 10 years leading the company.
“Vhernier has long been admired for the unique contemporary and essential design of its creations,” said Brozzetti.
“Over the coming years, our focus will be on consolidating its success and expanding its network of boutiques, leveraging its exquisite ‘Made in Italy’ craftsmanship.”
The Traglio family, who acquired Vhernier in 2001 and then sold it to Richemont, will “remain involved in the business and continue to contribute to its growth.”
Maurizio Traglio, CEO of Vhernier, is now chairman of the brand’s board of directors.
“We are delighted that Vhernier is now part of Richemont’s family of prestigious jewelry maisons,” said Maurizio.
“We are convinced that Vhernier’s unique creative style and quality craftsmanship, complemented by Richemont’s management excellence, will enable Vhernier to become a leading international jewelry maison.”
Carlo Traglio, chairman of Vhernier, is now the chairman of Vhernier USA.
Isabella Traglio will remain in her role as head of design and research and development, leading the creative direction of the brand.
Richemont CEO Nicolas Bos said he has admired the brand since it was co-founded by Angela Camurati in the 1980s.
“Richemont has deep respect for the Traglio family’s exceptional achievement in establishing Vhernier as a highly distinctive jewelry maison. We very much look forward to working with Maurizio, Carlo, and Isabella to ensure that Vhernier flourishes in years to come,” said Bos.
The Milan-based brand was founded in Valenza, Italy, in 1984. Vhernier is best known for its modern aesthetic, inspired by the body’s curves and modern sculpture.
There are 17 mono-brand Vhernier boutiques across the world, including in Milan, Rome, Geneva, Paris, New York, Miami, and Dubai, and its jewelry is also sold through a network of retailers.
