Ylang 23 Relocates, Expands Dallas Flagship
The retailer has moved into a 3,200-square-foot space at The Shops of Highland Park.

The new 3,200-square-foot location at 4252 Oak Lawn Ave. is a reflection of Ylang 23’s rich history and forward-thinking vision, said the company.
The new store has a fresh color palette and brand direction.
“We’re thrilled to open the doors to our brand-new, reimagined space at Ylang 23. This grand opening marks an exciting new chapter not just for our brand, but for our family’s legacy in Dallas,” said Alysa Teichman, co-owner of Ylang 23 and owner of its sister company, Wildlike.
“It’s incredibly special to carry forward what my parents built almost 40 years ago, blending our shared vision with fresh, modern elements. The space itself is stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to tell our story.”
Alysa led the redesign of the new space alongside her parents and Ylang 23 founders, Joanne and Charles Teichman.
With the help of B. Russo Designs, a Dallas-based retail construction and design business, and MAOarch, a New York-based architecture firm, as well as Wield Creative and Trace Element, the family was able to execute their creative vision.
Throughout the store, the owners have three favorite touches.
Behind the cash wrap hangs a painting by Canadian artist Janet Werner, while another area is decorated with wallpaper by Maison C Coven.
The main area of the store has a featured shop for pieces from designer Kirsty Stone’s brand, Retrouvaí.
Stone was the winner of the inaugural edition of The Next Now, the competition for emerging jewelry designers Ylang 23 first held in 2016.
“As we celebrate this reimagined Ylang 23 space, I am filled with pride seeing how our business has not only thrived but also become a multi-generational family endeavor,” said Charles.
“This is an exciting new chapter for our brand, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see my daughter at the helm, continuing our legacy and leading us into the future with her vision and passion.”
Joanne and Charles founded Ylang 23 in 1985, opening its doors at the Galleria Dallas before moving to Preston Center for the last 10 years.
Now the brand is celebrating its legacy and future with its new flagship located a few stores down from its sister company, Wildlike, which Alysa started in 2021.
Wildlike also has expanded out of state, opening a store in New York City last December.
