Bloomingdale’s to Buy, Sell Pre-Owned Luxury Goods Via Rebag
Secondhand handbags, watches, and fine jewelry will be available on Bloomingdale’s website and in select stores.

The collaboration will democratize the luxury goods market, said the companies, while promoting “sustainability and circularity.”
Customers can shop a curated selection of more than 2,500 designer handbags, watches, and fine jewelry online at Bloomingdales.com. More than 500 items will be available in five Bloomingdale’s locations.
There will be Rebag areas on the accessories floors of stores in The Mall at Short Hills in New Jersey; the location in White Plains, New York; Town Center in Boca Raton, Florida; Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, California; and Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego.
“This partnership epitomizes our vision of the complementary relationship between firsthand and secondhand luxury. By bringing Rebag's expertise in sourcing and vetting luxury goods to Bloomingdale's discerning clientele, we are setting a new standard in the luxury retail experience,” said Charles Gorra, CEO and founder of Rebag.
In addition to buying luxury goods, customers can also receive offers for items they want to sell.
Rebag said its proprietary AI tool, called CLAIR, uses millions of data points to determine fair item values, allowing Rebag to offer quotes and payouts on premises.
The items bought and sold by Rebag at Bloomingdale's and on Bloomingdales’s website will be focused on select ultra high-end pieces including handbags, watches, and fine jewelry, said the companies.
Rebag will also work with Bloomingdale's stores management and staff to integrate the Rebag buying and selling experience into the overall customer journey.
"We are delighted to partner with Rebag, an established leader in the luxury resale space, to meet customer needs with this curated addition to our assortment,” said Jennifer Jones, senior vice president and GMM Center Core of Women's Accessories.
“The strategic partnership brings a new set of ultra-luxury brands to Bloomingdale's, while providing access to the finest pre-owned luxury items, enabling a full circular experience."
The Rebag x Bloomingdale's collection launched online last week with the Rebag displays in store to follow shortly after.
