GIA Now Accepting Scholarship Applications for 2024
The application window for the merit-based scholarships will close Sept. 30.

The window to apply is open for U.S. and international students now through Sept. 30.
Scholarships are for GIA on-campus, online and lab courses or programs from Jan. 1 to June 30, 2024.
Awards may also be used for the revamped Graduate Jeweler program that will begin in 2024.
Details on eligibility can be found on GIA’s website. All applications must be submitted through the GIA online scholarship portal. No deadline extensions will be granted.
"We are committed to supporting our students and helping them achieve their dreams which is why GIA awarded $2 million in scholarships this year," said Duncan Pay, GIA senior vice president of education and chief academic officer.
"Through our scholarship programs, we are able to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate a passion for gemology or the jewelry arts and a commitment to excellence."
Merit-based scholarship awards are competitive and based on the achievements of the applicant, said GIA. Need-based scholarships are available year-round and require applicants to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Since 2015, GIA has awarded more than $12 million in scholarships, helping more than 2,500 students study at its schools globally and online.
