Sissy’s Log Cabin Cuts Ribbon on Its Sixth Store
It is located in an outdoor mall in West Little Rock, Arkansas.
The store is in the Promenade at Chenal in West Little Rock, Arkansas, an area of the city Sissy’s Log Cabin CEO Bill Jones described as “thriving.”
“The addition of our Promenade storefront provides West Little Rock shoppers with a jewelry-buying destination that has been built with convenience in mind,” he said.
“Recent years have shown great opportunity in this thriving part of our growing city, and we’re excited to add to that growth by offering exceptional customer service and remarkable experiences that transcend the ordinary.”
Sissy’s marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 8 attended by store employees—including founder Sissy Jones, who opened her first store in 1970—as well as customers and representatives from the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce and Moses Tucker Partners, the commercial real estate firm that manages and leases space in the strip mall.
The Promenade store is the first Sissy’s Log Cabin store to feature a more modern design, including large windows, lighter colors and warm, natural hues.
Jesse Balaity of Balaity Property Enhancement, a retail design firm that specializes in jewelry stores, designed the store’s interior.
The new store also offers a golf cart concierge service, meaning shoppers can call the concierge to get a golf cart to chauffeur them to the store.
Founded in 1970, Sissy’s Log Cabin is family-owned and -operated, with stores in Pine Bluff, Little Rock Heights, West Little Rock, Jonesboro and Conway, Arkansas, as well as in Memphis, Tennessee.
In addition to the opening of the store in West Little Rock, the retailer announced earlier this spring that it has broken ground on a new freestanding store in Memphis that will replace its current store there.
Also designed by Balaity, the 9,000-square-foot location is slated to open in spring 2023.
