NJ jeweler reopens with focus on diamonds, brands
Following a renovation, Corrine Jewelers has reopened its doors to reveal a design focused on diamonds, bridal jewelry and branded fashion merchandise.

Toms River, N.J.--Following a renovation, Corrine Jewelers has reopened its doors to reveal a design focused on diamonds, bridal jewelry and branded fashion merchandise.
The store, located on North Main Street in Toms River, now has a more spacious display area designed to hold hundreds of engagement rings, situated behind glass-fronted cabinets. An added table featuring additional pieces allows customers to sit and touch and try on the pieces.
A new repair take-in desk has a plasma-screen television that shows photos of jewelry undergoing repair, as well as sketches of custom designs. The bridal area was expanded to include a sitting area, coffee bar and entertainment area equipped with a big-screen TV.
A Pandora boutique also has been added to the store, as well as a diamond appraising room.
“We’ve reimagined everything, including adding ‘The Diamond Source’ to our name,” said Ryan Blumenthal, third-generation owner of Corrine Jewelers. “What does that mean to our customers? Among other things, it means we now have the area’s largest selection of diamonds suitable for any budget.”
The store’s renovation and expanded inventory marked its 50th year in business.
Toms River Mayor Thomas Kelaher proclaimed July 31, the date of the official reopening of the store, as “Corrine Jewelers Day,” noting the business has been a longtime supporter of regional and national groups, including the American Cancer Society.
To mark the store’s anniversary, reopening and further engage its customers, Blumenthal has planned three events to take place in upcoming months.
“Faces of Corrine” will be a social media promotion that will solicit photos and stories from families that have been customers of the jewelry store for generations, while the “Stick-it-to-Students” scholarship program will honor high school students with cash awards throughout Corrine Jewelers’ 50th anniversary year.
Also, a customer appreciation event will award a $50 gift card to the first person to walk through the door each day during a specified 50-day period.
Corrine Jewelers is an American Gem Society store.
“(Customers) will find a new luxurious atmosphere and a lot of new rings, diamonds and beautiful jewelry. But the same warm people are still here, prepared to deliver the friendly ‘Corrine experience’ they’ve come to expect from us,” Blumenthal said.
