Jewelry Industry Vet Adam Graham Joins Omi
Graham, who left Black Starr & Frost when the jeweler’s Newport Beach, Calif. store closed, now will head marketing and sales for Omi Gems and Omi Privé.

West Covina, Calif.--Omi Inc. has hired jewelry industry veteran Adam Graham as its new director of sales and marketing, the brand announced this week.
In this new role, he will oversee the selling, marketing and public relations functions of the gemstone company and its fine jewelry division, Omi Privé.
Most recently, Graham spent eight months as vice president and managing director for renowned jeweler Black Starr & Frost. He left the company when its Newport Beach, Calif. location closed nearly two weeks ago after the company was unable to come to a “feasible agreement” with the landlord, according to owner Alfredo Molina. (Molina also noted that the jeweler’s Phoenix location will remain open, and that they will continue to explore retail options in Orange County and expansions into new markets.)
Graham has held other executive-level positions in the industry, including serving as CEO for jewelry designer Erica Courtney, marketing manager for the American Gem Trade Association, vice president of the Rapaport Group, and director of marketing and public relations for the American Gem Society.
“We are thrilled to have Adam join us at this stage in our company’s ongoing growth,” Omi Vice President Niveet Nagpal said. “Adam’s experience and relationships in all facets of the industry will really enhance our team as we continue to build both our loose gemstone and jewelry business.”
