Millennial Author to Speak at Vegas Breakfast
Jason Dorsey will talk about the shopping habits of members of Gen Y at the Plumb Club breakfast in Las Vegas.
New York--It’s no secret that as millennials take up a bigger piece of the buying pie, they are bringing in new shopping habits that are greatly influencing the retail environment.
At the Plumb Club’s breakfast event during the JCK Las Vegas show, best-selling author Jason Dorsey will discuss the generational behaviors of the group, giving data, first-hand stories and step-by-step actions to allow retailers to drive sales and increase communications and engagement.
This year’s breakfast will be held on Saturday, June 4 from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. in the South Seas Ballroom, Level 3. The event’s platinum-level sponsor is Jewelers Unblocked, which is also the preferred insurance partner for The Plumb Club and their affiliates this year.
Dorsey is the author of Y-Size Your Business: How Gen Y Employees Can Save You Money and Grow Your Business and My Reality Check Bounced!: The Gen-Y Guide to Cashing In On Your Real-World Dreams, among others.
He also has been featured in 60 Minutes, 20/20, the Today show and The New York Times and has a client list that includes GE, Mercedes Benz, Visa, The Four Seasons and Wells Fargo.
Following Dorsey’s presentation, everyone who attended the breakfast will have the chance to meet Dorsey and receive a signed copy of Y-Size Your Business in the Plumb Club Pavilion on the show floor.
Three retailers also will have a chance to win a two-hour consulting session with him, while 30 retailers will win an “Online Millennial Sales and Marketing Course.”
The presentation is open to registered retailers only; reservations are required.
