Sales from Gemit, The Touch to benefit JFC

New York--Two companies are donating a portion of proceeds from specific sales to the industry’s charity, Jewelers for Children.
Online global trading platform Gemit.com is giving a percentage of all proceeds from the site’s promotional packages to JFC, a drive that began March 1.
The donations are part of Gemit’s sustainable campaign, which ensures that the benefits of the online site will not only profit its members, but also the industry’s charitable organizations, the Malca-Amit-powered company said.
Gemit was recently chosen as a finalist at JCK’s inaugural “Shark Tank” forum, which will be held in Las Vegas on May 29.
“Every time a company promotes its products via one of the site’s premium packages, they know it’s not just going to help them sell more, but they themselves will be helping children in need via the JFC’s outstanding work,” said Gemit founder and CEO Ehud Tal.
Boston-based jewelry design company The Touch also is donating a portion of its “Compass Rose” jewelry sales to the charity.
The Compass Rose collection offers 14-karat gold and sterling silver pieces that celebrate graduation and other achievements, and includes earrings, pendants, bracelets and cufflinks.
Up until June 30, a portion of any purchase from the line will benefit JFC.
