A New York disc jockey, M.O.S. has lent his services to a number of celebrities and organizations, including DEF co-founder Russell Simmons, former President Bill Clinton, Kanye West and the Sundance and Tribeca film festivals. He DJ’s at clubs in New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles, Paris, Norway and Japan and has appeared in advertisements for Bud Light, Doritos and Gillette.
“DJ M.O.S. has been a supporter of Diamond Empowerment Fund since our founding, and the only DJ to have exclusively spun at the past GOOD Awards events in New York City,” the organization said in a statement. “With the uncanny knack of playing classic hits our industry loves to hear and mixing it with some of the newest most current beats, M.O.S. will keep the energy up and the crowd dancing all night at this year’s GOOD Awards.”
The Good Awards are scheduled for Jan. 9 at the Empire Penthouse Lounge in New York.
DEF revealed this summer that Forevermark, JCK and Fred Meyer Jewelers will be honored at the ceremony for their global leadership and for making a positive difference in communities around the world.
Accepting the awards on behalf of their respective companies will be Stephen Lussier, Forevermark CEO; Yancy Weinrich, group vice president at JCK Events, and Mark Smelzer, JCK publisher; and Peter Engel, president of Fred Meyer Jewelers.
