Las Vegas--Colored gemstone company Takat Jewels is getting involved in the fight to keep kids, particularly youth in urban areas, fit.
The 2nd annual “Fight 4 Fitness” 5K race, 2K walk, kids’ fun run and community day is scheduled to take place on Sunday at Sunset Park in Las Vegas and is presented by the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation, the charity started by the boxing champion to help underprivileged children in the Las Vegas area.
Takat Jewels is among the event’s presenting sponsors, along with Mayweather Promotions and The Money Team. Showtime is the supporting sponsor.
The purpose of Fight 4 Fitness race, walk and community day is to promote a fit and healthy lifestyle for youth in urban areas.
In addition to the races, the afternoon will include food, music, games, raffle prizes, live music, free Zumba sessions from Zumba Las Vegas and the chance to meet, get autographs, take pictures, and step inside a boxing ring to learn a few tricks of the trade from Mayweather Promotions’ stars.
