New York--The Appraisers International Society is bringing one part of its Global Valuation Standard certification process for personal property appraising to a global audience.
The AISociety has debuted AiFasTrak, a week-long class designed to be a quick but thorough look at the AiCore-I Appraisal and Valuation Principles and Procedures certification. It is being taught by AIS founder and President Elly Rosen for 40 total hours from the AIS audio-video classroom in New York City.
Classes start this week and will be available in three global time zones to reach a larger audience.
The full July schedule is as follows.
--July 11 to 15: European offering for Europe, Africa, Middle East and West Asia
--July 18 to 22: Western Hemisphere offering for the Americas
--July 25 to 29: Pacific offering for East Asia
There will be a final exam, as is the same with all of the association’s courses, as well as assignments and appraisal report submissions to follow.
Completion of AiFasTrak provides participants with a certificate and AiS “member” title.
Tuition is $750 for participation in any of the 1-week classes.
The syllabus and registration information for AiCore-I can be found on the AISociety’s website.
Following AiCore I and II, graduates can advance to specialty diploma programs in gems and jewelry, fine and decorative arts and residential contents and estates.
