Christie’s Names New Global Managing Director for Luxury
Kimberly Miller has been promoted to the role.

Miller previously served as the auction house’s regional managing director for luxury Americas.
There, she led business strategy, sales expansion, and financial performance across its jewelry, watches, wine, and handbags departments.
Christie’s said she played a pivotal role in the integration of Gooding & Company, an auction house specializing in collector cars that Christie’s acquired in 2024.
She also oversaw the auction house’s relaunch of wine auctions in New York with “The Cellar of William I. Koch” sale last year.
Miller began her career in Christie’s wine department in 2010.
Prior to joining the luxury division, she held senior specialist and management roles at Sotheby’s.
In her new role, she will remain based in New York and will direct all aspects of the auction house’s luxury business, including both live and online auctions and private sales.
She also will work closely with the specialist departments in Geneva, Hong Kong, London, New York, and Paris.
Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from Temple University in Philadelphia and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Christie’s luxury division has had “an exceptional year,” the auction house said, citing its record-breaking $25.6 million sale of the “Mellon Blue” diamond, the highest‑value jewelry lot sold at auction in 2025.
In 2025, the luxury division realized $795 million in sales, up 17 percent from the previous year.
