It’s Time: GIA’s Express Holiday Service Is Back
GIA is offering next-day services for natural, colorless diamonds submitted to its labs in New York and Carlsbad.

GIA announced late last week that it is offering next-day diamond grading report and GIA Diamond Dossier services for U.S. retailers who submit natural, colorless diamonds to its labs in Carlsbad, California, and New York.
Next-day service is not available for lab-grown diamonds, which now receive a “quality assessment” from GIA, not a standard diamond grading report.
In addition, clients will receive a free GIA-branded loose diamond display case, while supplies last.
The service is provided at no extra charge but for a limited time only.
GIA began offering the service Monday, and it will continue through Dec. 17 for both shipped and walk-in submissions.
To take advantage of this offer, retailers should write “Promo Code: HOLIDAY” on their memo and shipping box for service return within 24 hours.
Because of the tight timeframe, GIA said the diamonds will be processed and the reports automatically printed without an opportunity to add additional services.
The lab asks that retailers request all services, like inscriptions or an AGS Ideal report, on the memo at intake.
The offer is limited to five stones per client per day. Standard shipping rates apply.
