ICA Names 2025 Board of Directors
The board elected 9 new directors at its recent ICA Congress in Brazil.

The board, led by board President Damien Cody, was installed at the 2025 ICA Congress, held in Brazil in May.
The organization’s new directors are as follows:
Lucas Amelung, United States;
Ashoo Sinchawla, Thailand;
Himas Isab, Sri Lanka;
Katherine Kovacs, Australia;
Manuela Soares, Brazil;
Ramji Sharma, Japan;
Saurabh Bansal, Germany;
Arun Jain, India; and
Dacques Nini, U.S.
Newly elected ICA directors serve a two-year term and are then eligible for re-election to an additional four-year term.
“[I’d like to give] a genuine welcome to our incoming board members and a most sincere thank you to those directors who have contributed so much to our success over the last several years and are now stepping down,” Cody said.

“ICA board of directors elections are held every two years, and we are immensely proud of, and grateful to the slate of directors who are coming off the board this year,” ICA CEO Doug Hucker said.
“Being a director entails a significant amount of commitment and effort. Without the contribution of these departing members the ICA would not have continued to thrive through the challenging times our industry has experienced in the past few years,” he continued.
“New elections also represent the addition of ideas, perspective, and energy that will help the board navigate the challenges of the shifting landscape of global trade and ensure that all our members can prosper.”
