Muse Sets Up Shop in Nordstrom’s New Jewelry Hall
The West Village jewelry boutique’s new shop-in-shop is the cornerstone of Nordstrom’s revamped jewelry hall.

The company announced its first retail partnership with Nordstrom on Tuesday and has opened a new shop-in-shop at Nordstrom’s New York City flagship store.
The space, which debuted in June, brings Muse’s “cool, carefree downtown aesthetic” to the newly revamped jewelry hall, offering a curated selection of jewelry and home objects.
“Since our doors on Hudson Street opened, everything we’ve done at Muse has happened organically. This partnership is no different, and it’s an honor that Nordstrom has decided to work together to replicate the Muse customer experience within its walls,” said Jennifer Shanker, founder and creative director of Muse.

Shanker founded Muse with the goal of challenging traditional luxury shopping norms, it said, instead opting for “an approachable yet elegant shopping culture that invites rather than intimidates.”
Fine jewelry is meant to be fun, inspiring, and uplifting, said Muse, and its new shop-in-shop gives customers a venue for discovery and luxury style exploration.
Muse will be the cornerstone of Nordstrom’s expanded jewelry hall, stocking jewels by Bea Bongiasca, Beck, Daniela Villegas, Nouvel Heritage, and Ten Thousand Things, as well as other designers.
“Each designer offers distinctive, personal pieces characterized by creativity, impeccable craftsmanship, and authentic storytelling,” said Muse.
The shop-in-shop will also include a curation of “jewels for the home,” including vases, bowls, and jewelry boxes.
Shoppers can find vintage pieces from The End of History, resin from Tina Frey, ceramic from Casa Alfarera, glass pieces from Paul Arnhold, and lacquer jewelry boxes from Trove.
Its interior design elements will showcase Muse’s “distinctive blends of rich materials, styles, and designs,” it said.
The collaboration will provide customers with an “editorially inspired” shopping experience, said Muse, with storytelling and activations.
"As a long-time admirer of Muse as a fine jewelry destination, we are thrilled to bring their vision to life at the Nordstrom NYC Flagship,” said Rickie De Sole, vice president, fashion director at Nordstrom.
“Jennifer and her team have an incredible eye for curating pieces that feel personal and full of character. We can’t wait for Nordstrom customers to spend time with Muse in our new jewelry hall—a space designed to spark creativity, joy, and the thrill of discovering something truly special.”
Nordstrom’s New York City flagship store is located on the corner of 58th and Broadway.
