NY Liberty’s 2024 Championship Rings Honor Historic Win
The WNBA team received rings imbued with meaning, from leaf motifs and its Liberty torch to the number of diamonds used.

The Brooklyn, New York-based basketball team partnered with Jason Arasheben, founder and CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, and Brooklyn-based designers Dynasty Ogun and Soull Ogun of L'Enchanteur, to create the rings—a choice made to honor Brooklyn.
The 2024 Championship win is the first for the NY Liberty after 28 seasons, and New York City’s first professional basketball championship since 1973.
To mark this milestone, the championship rings were imbued with meaning through every design element.
The 2024 Championship ring stands as a tangible tribute to the team’s enduring spirit, core values, and the city it represents, said the team.
“The Liberty’s 2024 WNBA Championship ring reflects the tenacity, determination, and greatness of this team and of New York City itself,” said Clara Wu Tsai, governor of NY Liberty.
“Our goal for the ring’s design was to honor our players while also incorporating the spirit of Brooklyn. We were fortunate to find collaborators equally dedicated to the same mission. The craftsmanship of Jason of Beverly Hills combined with the artistry of the Ogun sisters brough to life an exceptional piece of jewelry.”
The top of the ring depicts the team's signature torch set against a background of more than 6 carats of pavé and emerald-cut white diamonds, symbolizing the six years the team has been under its current ownership of Clara and Joe Tsai.
Flanking the torch is “NY” with the “Y” featuring 11 black diamonds as a representation of the team’s playoff games in the 2024 season and a total of 0.32 carats representing its 32 regular season wins.

When the square top of the 10-karat white gold ring is twisted off, it reveals an image of the Liberty’s home court at the Barclays Center on one side and a pair of earrings on the other. The opening is a first-of-its-kind design from the Ogun sisters, while the earrings were designed by Arasheben.
The gold “Crown” earrings feature “NY” with a pavé diamond Liberty crown motif. This piece within a piece was created to give the players everyday jewelry that celebrates their championship win.
The earrings sit between the team’s unofficial slogan of the last season, “We all we got! We all we need!”
On the left side of the ring is a representation of the 2024 WNBA Finals Championship trophy that was created by Tiffany & Co., with a single diamond set at the top of the trophy to commemorate the team’s first WNBA title.
On the right side, a leaf is depicted rising from cracks in concrete, alongside a player’s name and number.
Soull designed this element as a tribute to New York being “The Concrete Jungle,” and as a nod to the lyrics in Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ song “Empire State of Mind,” specifically “Concrete jungle where dreams are made of. There’s nothing you can’t do.”
The budding leaf features 28 Paraíba tourmalines in the team’s blue color, symbolizing the team’s 28 seasons in the league. It also is meant as a reminder that the team’s first WNBA Championship is just the beginning of the Liberty story, the team said.
“We’re honored to be part of such a historic moment in sports with the New York Liberty, bringing the championship to our hometown of Brooklyn,” said Dynasty and Soull.
“A diamond in the rough, also growing from the concrete.”
Another symbolic element is a motif of Lady Liberty’s crown on the base of the ring’s top. It is meant to symbolize strength, freedom, and the spirit of New York.
Inside, the ring’s shank is engraved with a player’s jersey and roster number.
“This wasn’t just a ring—it was a responsibility. The New York Liberty waited 28 seasons for this moment, and we knew the jewelry needed to reflect every ounce of that journey. From the torch to the concrete leaf motif, every detail in the design was carefully chosen to honor the legacy, grit, and passion behind this historic win,” said Arasheben, who also created championships rings for the NBA, NFL, and MLB.
Collaborating with Dynasty and Soull Ogun also allowed the jeweler to merge its craftsmanship with their artistic vision and deep ties to Brooklyn, said Arasheben.
“The result is a bold and meaningful tribute that speaks not only to the strength of this team but to the spirit of the city it represents.”
A collection of NY Liberty Championship rings, pendants, and earrings are available for fans on the Jason of Beverly Hills website.
This includes a limited-edition “Liberty Super Fan Championship Ring” which is a similar design to the team’s rings, with a customization option. The white gold and diamond ring retails for $10,950.
