Adeler Jewelers Celebrates 50 Years
The family-owned jeweler in Great Falls, Virginia, will be celebrating its golden jubilee with a year’s worth of events.

The family-owned and operated jeweler was founded in 1975 by Jorge Adeler and his wife Graciela Adeler, who immigrated from Argentina to the United States in 1973.
In 1980, the jeweler opened its flagship store in Great Falls.
At one point, the jeweler operated seven locations across the East Coast but switched gears in 2001 to focus on its flagship, according to its website.

Adeler Jewelers plans to celebrate its milestone anniversary all year long, hosting special events and guest speakers.
It will also debut exclusive designs that honor its five decades of artistry and heritage, said the jeweler.
The company founded the Jorge Adeler brand in 2012, which is available at retailers across the country.
"Often it begins with the gemstones, and then I start sketching. When the client begins to share their vision, and I can help guide them with mine, that's when the magic happens," said Jorge, who serves as the store’s master designer.
Jorge's designs have been worn by a number of celebrities on the red carpets of the Academy Awards and the Grammys, including Oprah, Meryl Streep, and Halle Berry.
In addition to its design capabilities, the retailer said it prides itself on its ethical sourcing practices and community involvement.
Jorge now works alongside his daughters, Wendy and Valentina, and said his business will be in trusted hands in the future.
There are three generations of his family working in the business as his five grandchildren are beginning to learn the trade.
"My family is my legacy. Everything else is just icing on the cake," said Jorge.
