MJSA Releases 2025-2026 Buyer’s Guide
This year’s edition includes articles on the favorite tools of notable designers, evaluating when to outsource production, and more.

The 168-page book is a resource for the equipment, supplies, and services needed to make, sell, and repair jewelry.
Topics in this year’s edition are organized into 10 categories:
Beads;
Business Equipment & Services;
Chain;
Contract Manufacturing Services;
Findings;
Gemstones;
Metals;
Packaging & Display;
Schools & Educational Resources; and
Tools & Equipment.
The index will also allow buyers to look up specific items from the hundreds of supplies and services listed in the book. This includes everything from abrasives, bails, and casting equipment to XRF testers, yokes, and zircon, said MJSA.
Additionally, the Buyer’s Guide will feature an article section to assist buyers with their decisions.
“The Maker’s Dilemma” is a guide to evaluating when to keep production inhouse or to outsource, while “Hidden Heroes” showcases favorite tools from several notable designers.
The article titled “From Chaos to Control” explores how an Enterprise Resource Planning system can centralize key business functions, from inventory management and financials to production planning and customer relationship management.
The Buyer’s Guide is free for MJSA members or $35 for nonmembers.
