NouvelleBox Show Returns to New York City
The showcase, in its second year, will feature more than 20 international brands at its curated event from Feb. 2-4.

The three-day event, slated for Feb. 2 to 4, will take place at Lavan Chelsea at 541 West 25th Street in New York City.
It will feature more than 20 international jewelry brands, with some exhibitors returning from last year’s inaugural event, such as Netherlands-operated Van Gelder Jewellery, and new brands including Mazarin Paris, Kismet by Milka from Turkey, Lebanese bench jeweler Andre Marcha, and London-based brand Roxanne First.
NouvelleBox, a platform designed to connect jewelry brands with the global market, was founded in 2021 by Darren Hildrow, who previously worked as jewelry director for London and New York City showroom Rainbowwave.
The company’s curated showcase also exhibits at Paris Fashion Week.
Organizers of the upcoming Chelsea show said the event is modeled after its Paris showcase. It’s a shorter, smaller-scale exhibition set in an intimate, elevated environment.
Van Gelder Jewellery CEO Noëlle Viguurs-van Gelder said last year’s United States show attracted high-caliber buyers from across the country, including those the brand wouldn’t typically see at the Paris showcase.
“Darren is so gifted at bringing people together,” she added.
Hildrow is also regarded for his keen eye for individuality and newness, said Bella Neyman, independent curator and founder of NYC Jewelry Week.
“I am always intrigued by the designers who are represented at these presentations; all of them are dedicated to lending a new perspective to jewelry either through their background, materials, or technique,” Neyman said.
Last year’s New York event saw the attendance of retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Stanley Korshak, Ylang 23, and Twist, as well as several press attendees, according to NouvelleBox.
“Word is getting out about our global offering and reach,” said Hildrow.
“I want the buyer to find something different and for each brand to have their own unique point of view.”
This year’s event will be open from Feb. 2 to 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with Feb. 3 being a dedicated press day hosted by Francesca Simons Consulting.
