The Jewelry Symposium Opens Registration, Scholarship Applications
The event centered on advancing jewelry manufacturing technology will return to Detroit in May 2025.

It will be held at the Detroit Marriott Troy in Detroit, Michigan, from May 17-20, after organizers announced earlier this year that they extended the event.
It will begin with a networking dinner on May 17 followed by presentations from May 18-20 on the topics of technology (design software, additive manufacturing, generative AI), jewelry manufacturing processes (metallurgy, casting, mold-making), gemstones, sustainability, and safety.
The agenda also includes discussions on recruitment and development of new talent.
TJS has also opened applications for the scholarship program launched just prior to this year’s event, which provides the registration fee, lodging at the host hotel, meals catered by TJS, a book, a flash drive, and a certificate of attendance.
Students, interns, apprentices, or those early in their career in any field of the jewelry industry wishing to attend the 2025 symposium can apply here from now until Jan. 3.
“We welcome new participants for 2025, and the entire board is thrilled by both the quantity and quality of esteemed speakers who will be joining us,” said Linus Drogs, TJS chairman of the board.
“We are grateful to be able to offer scholarships again this year, and we are purposely starting the process much earlier to give awardees plenty of time to plan for their attendance.”
Guests can register for TJS 2025 here and secure group rates at the Marriot here.
