Grown Brilliance Launches Fancy Colored Lab-Grown Diamond Collection
The “Melrose” collection highlights pink and blue lab-grown diamonds across 20 pieces.

The collection’s namesake is the brand’s 8483 Melrose Place storefront, which opened in December 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
The location shares more than just a name with this collection. As Grown Brilliance is based in New York City, the L.A. store became a big inspiration for Akshie Jhaveri, the creative director and founder of the lab-grown diamond jewelry company.
She highlights the organic shapes, play of light, and color in the architecture of the shop as her inspiration for the Melrose collection.
Along with the storefront, California as a whole was a muse for the collection. Locations from Catalina to Rodeo and Del Mar became the names for Grown Brilliance’s new rings, necklaces, and earrings.
Other jewelry companies that have debuted colored lab-grown diamond offerings, such as Swarovski’s 16-color collection from 2020, have praised quick-developing technology for allowing them to replicate existing fancy colored diamond hues, as well as develop new colors that have not yet, and are unlikely to ever appear in a natural fancy colored diamond.
Jhaveri said, “Lab-grown diamonds give us more ability than ever to create what we imagine, especially when considering a collection like Melrose, focused on fancy-colored diamonds. We are able to create the highest quality colored diamonds, in a wide range of carat weight and consistent color, delivering true luxury with exceptional value.”
While fancy pink and blue lab-grown diamonds were the focus of this collection, white lab-grown diamonds also appear throughout the 20 pieces.
The Melrose collection includes 18-karat white, yellow, and rose gold jewelry ranging from $5,000 to $44,000.
It launched in July and is available for purchase on Grown Brilliance’s website.
