Zachary’s Jewelers Is Holding a Mother’s Day Jewelry Contest for Kids
Three winners will have their jewelry sketches turned into a real piece of jewelry in time for the holiday.

The Maryland-based jeweler is once again hosting a Mother’s Day jewelry design contest, inviting fifth graders to submit a drawing of a piece of jewelry they’d like to create for their mom or caregiver.
Kids are invited to sketch a jewelry idea in color, labeling the parts and materials, like sterling silver or white gold.
Applicants should also share a few sentences about how the design represents their mom or caregiver.
Submissions can be made online through March 31. Each child can submit one entry only.
Zachary’s judges will notify the finalists by April 10 and host a brunch for the finalists at its downtown Annapolis location on May 5.
Three winning designs will be chosen and made into a piece of jewelry in time to be gifted for Mother’s Day, May 12.
The jeweler will also donate to the art departments of the winning children’s schools.
For more information or to submit a sketch, visit the Zachary’s Jewelers website.
