Piece of the Week: Eden Presley’s Magic 8 Spinner Pendant
It’s like your favorite childhood toy but with the bonus of gold, diamonds, and a ruby.

The fine jewelry brand’s new Magic 8 Spinner pendant offers the same sort of fun but with a luxury feel via precious materials.
Gwen Myers, the designer behind the brand, said she was always a fan of the toy so she thought a jewel in the same vein would be a cool idea.
And, as a constant fidgeter, she’s always been attracted to pieces with interesting movement.
This one has that in spades.
Ask a question, give the pendant a spin, and a mechanism inside—which Myers said took her a while to figure out—will do the rest for you, giving classic Magic 8 Ball answers like, “Outlook good,” “Don’t count on it,” and “Try again.”
The piece is crafted in 14-karat gold with diamond accents and a ruby center to make it all the sweeter.
It’s available on the Eden Presley website, priced at $3,800.
