JA offering payment processing benefits
Via a new program with FIS, Jewelers of America members now can receive discounts on materials they need to process non-cash payments.
New York--Jewelers of America is offering a new payment solutions and gift card benefit program that gives its members discounted rates on materials they need to process non-cash payments, including checks and credit cards.
The program is available through FIS Retail Payment Solutions, a global provider of banking and payments technologies, and will offer discounted rates on electronic check conversion to process checks like credit cards at a lower cost.
The program also offers enhanced warranty coverage for fraud, forgery, stolen or non-sufficient- funds checks, as well as discounts on the industry’s “most robust” end-to-end credit/debit processing solutions, JA said.
There are no fees associated with application, set-up, items or transactions, and there is no annual fee for credit card processing. FIS also offers pre-packaged and custom gift card programs that drive new and repeat retail traffic, JA said.
Details on FIS’s payment processing services and exclusive discounts for JA members can be found on Jewelers.org.
“We know that check and credit card purchases are an essential part of jewelers’ businesses, and JA members who take advantage of the exclusive discounts offered by FIS will find major cost savings,” said Matthew Tratner, director of membership and sales at JA. “FIS provides everything jewelers need to easily and efficiently process checks, credit cards and gift cards.”
