JFC’s ‘Rings’ event adds number of sponsors
Jewelers for Children announced that a number of big industry players have signed on to be sponsors for its 2014 Rings of Strength event in Las Vegas.
JFC said that as of April 18, TAG Heuer and JCK Events are the major sponsors, while Rio Tinto Diamonds, Blue Nile, Leo Schachter Diamonds, Jewelry Creations, Brinks, and Malca-Amit have signed on to sponsor giveaway items and the rest stops during Rings of Strength.
The Harmon Group will handle all promotion for the event, including mailing materials and trade publication ads, and Freeman will donate all staging materials.
The 2014 Rings of Strength will be held on Thursday, May 29--the first day of the Couture show--at 5:30 a.m. to avoid the heat. Participants choose between biking, running or walking a number of different trails.
Bikers will have two options--one is a 50-kilometer route that will take riders through the Red Rock Canyon with varying challenges and different altitudes, while the second route is a 15-kilometer trail that snakes through surface roads in defined bike lanes. Cyclists can bring their own bikes or rent one.
Runners and walkers navigate a 5-kilometer route at their own pace.
All funds raised will benefit the JFC charity partners: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and the National CASA Association. More information and registration can be found here.
