Carlsbad, Calif.--The Gemological Institute of America’s next career fair is scheduled to take place Oct. 10 at its headquarters in Carlsbad, and registration is now open for companies that want to attend to find talent.
The GIA Jewelry Career Fair and Open House will run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on that Friday.
In addition to offering hiring opportunities in gems and jewelry, the career fair will include panels on design, creative careers and job success in today’s market, one-on-one career coaching and classroom demonstrations. It is free and open to all job seekers.
Gem and jewelry companies that want to attend the career fair to recruit talent can sign up using the online registration form, by contacting GIA’s Career Services office at 800-421-7250, ext. 4100, or by emailing the GIA’s Kimberly Overlin, kimberly.overlin@gia.edu.
