Marie Lichtenberg Lassos Leather for New Bracelets
The brand is trading its colorful fabric cords for Italian leather in its “Lasso” baby locket bracelets.
The “Lasso” baby locket bracelets feature Italian leather with 18-karat yellow or white gold locks and a diamond, emerald, or ruby on the clasp ($8,180-$8,320).
Paris—Marie Lichtenberg has debuted her new “Lasso” baby locket bracelets, adding a new material to her repertoire—leather.
The Paris-based brand is introducing Italian leather to its baby locket bracelet to represent a sophisticated maturation for Marie Lichtenberg, it said.
These new pieces reimagine the playful, symbolic aesthetic of the brand, now with elevated and timeless materials.
“All of our new creations are now heavier in gold following the rise in gold prices. We decided to move upmarket and raise our levels of standards,” said Marie Lichtenberg, the founder, CEO, and designer of her eponymous brand.
The brand is moving away from the colorful cords that it is known for and turning to Italian leather and solid gold construction. It’s a move from fashion jewelry to heirloom pieces, it said.

Each Lasso baby locket bracelet features a natural calf leather strap with an 18-karat yellow or white gold clasp adorned with a diamond, emerald, or ruby.
Lichtenberg chose to add leather to the Lasso bracelets because the material embodies the American spirit, she said, “it introduces a cooler, more raw tension that grounds the collection in something more authentic.”
Lichtenberg, who debuted a bejeweled bandana with 18-karat yellow gold, diamonds, and rubies at Couture in 2025, has been making a move towards Western-themes in her offerings.
On her expansion of this trend through the Lasso bracelets, Lichtenberg said, “As always, I draw from family memories, especially childhood. My grandfather Jackson lived in Lake Tahoe in the United States, where I spent many summers between Colorado and California. That’s where my connection to American pop culture began.”
Lichtenberg also noted that more leather offerings will be debuting in the future.
The three bracelet variations retail from $8,180 to $8,320.
