JA’s 2019 CASE Awards Is Open for Entries
Submissions for the annual design competition will be accepted through April 5.

New York—Jewelry designers take note: Jewelers of America is now accepting entries for the 2019 CASE Awards.
The annual design competition, open to staff of JA Retail Member companies, gives retail jewelry designers a chance to highlight their original creations.
“JA’s CASE Awards competition gives us the opportunity to highlight the talented bench jewelers and jewelry designers in JA Member stores across the country,” said JA president and CEO David J. Bonaparte.
“The awards shine a spotlight on their fine craftsmanship and creativity, and we are privileged to be able to showcase their work to both the trade and consumers.”
The four competition categories, broken up by retail value, are: jewelry up to $2,000 retail value; jewelry $2,001 to $5,000 retail value; jewelry $5,001 to $10,000 retail value; and jewelry from $10,000 to $50,000 retail value.
A panel of industry experts will evaluate the pieces based on overall design, marketability, practicality and wear-ability, and the quality of manufacture.
The panel will choose first and second-place winner in all four categories, awarding all winners a custom-made trophy.
Winners and entrants of the CASE Awards, which is sponsored by Synchrony Financial, will be featured in JA’s social media and digital marketing campaign.
Entries will be accepted through April 5 and accepted jewelry must arrive at JA headquarters by April 12.
For more entry guidelines and other information, visit the Jewelers of America website or call JA’s member services at 800-223-0673.
