A number of companies and organizations reported on their latest diamond sales and production figures, while one diamond industry executive in Israel talked to National Jeweler about the U.S. economy and the biggest challenge facing jewelers.

In trade show news, JIS announced that it will move two of its shows next year and 10 designers get ready to make their show debut at the upcoming JA New York Summer show.

Meanwhile, National Jeweler launched the latest edition of its digital magazine and the results came in from its latest jeweler survey, this one on tracking foot traffic and pearl jewelry sales.
