New York—Thirty watch brands will present their latest creations to the U.S. market next month when the WatchTime New York event returns to Manhattan’s Gotham Hall.

The fourth edition of the event is slated for Oct. 26 and 27, featuring two days of watch exhibits, talks, cocktail parties and events.

WatchTime New York says it’s the largest public watch event of its kind in North America. It’s presented by WatchTime Magazine and luxury lifestyle platform WatchAnish.

Attendees will have access to the latest luxury watches—including some event-exclusive launches—as well as a chance to meet the designers and leaders of the watchmaking industry.

WatchTime New York will open on the evening of Oct. 26 with a VIP cocktail event, allowing enthusiasts to mingle with notable watchmakers and industry experts and leaders. It also includes a first glimpse of timepieces from the watch exhibitors.

The event will then run on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with educational events, tours and other hands-on experiences.

That day will open with a panel of independent watchmakers at 10:30 a.m., highlighting watch designers who are revitalizing horology with their creativity in art and engineering.

That will be followed by collector and watch industry insider Jeff Kingston taking guests on a tour of the show floor at 11:30 a.m., pointing out notable new watches and giving insights into the culture and background of each exhibiting watch brand.

At 12:30 p.m., a panel of watch industry experts will offer their perspectives on the industry, from the changes surrounding Baselworld to the future of traditional watchmaking.

Kingston then will give a presentation at 2 p.m. with insights into new watches and launches from 2018. The programming will conclude with a panel at 4 p.m. led by WatchTime’s Logan Baker on American micro-watch brands.

As for the watch companies exhibiting, this year’s WatchTime New York will include well-known luxury brands like Omega, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Breguet, as well as approachably-priced watches like Bell & Ross, Raymond Weil, and G-Shock.

Independent brands will also be on display, such as Bovet; MB&F; RGM, which will debut its William Penn Model to the public for the first time at the event; Romain Gauthier, who will exclusively debut his Romain Gauthier Insight Micro-Rotor Natural Titanium timepiece there; and Fiona Krüger, one of the few well-known female watch designers in the industry who made a splash with her skull-inspired watches.

Other first looks for the U.S. market will be Czapek & Cie debuting its first-ever chronograph, the Faubourg de Cracovie Dioné & Rhea, and Bremont’s new Bremont U-2/51-JET watch, worn by Tom Hardy in his upcoming film “Venom.”

Tickets are $129 for those who want to attend both the Friday cocktail party and the full-day event on Saturday, and $39 for Saturday attendance only. They can be purchased at WatchTimeNewYork.com.
