DPA Launches Free Online Diamond Learning Program
The hour-long program, “Behind the Brilliance of Diamonds,” is designed to help U.S. retailers.
New York—The Diamond Producers Association has launched a diamond e-learning program for U.S. retailers.
“Behind the Brilliance of Diamonds” is an hour-long program, split into three information modules, offering educational material and quizzes designed to go beyond the 4Cs of diamonds.
The training program is free to use.
The DPA is offering rewards for retail sales associates who complete it; for each module completed, points are awarded that can be redeemed for a gift card worth up to $25 to one of several retailers.
Sales associates who complete the program also will be entered to win a grand prize for an all-expenses-paid trip for two to New York City, valued at $4,000.
The trip will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the New York diamond industry, the DPA said, including a personal tour of a diamond cutting facility.
The drawing for the trip will take place in the fall.
“The Diamond Producers Association’s e-learning program, ‘Behind the Brilliance of Diamonds,’ offers a clear and concise, open platform for the industry,” said Grant Mobley, DPA’s Trade Relations Lead.
“Whether you have been working with diamonds for one day or 20 years, the program relates compelling stories about the history of natural diamonds, easy-to-digest and well-researched facts, and memorable details about the important benefits that the natural diamond industry makes to the world.”
