12 pieces to see at the Las Vegas antique show
When the antique and estate jewelry and watch show opens in Las Vegas at the end of the month, more than 400 exhibitors will bring a mix of pieces from the 1700s and 1800s to Art Deco and even more modern jewels to Sin City.
These Colombian emerald and diamond earrings, circa 1890, will be on display at Pat Saling’s booth (#1912) at the upcoming Las Vegas Antique Jewelry&Watch show.
New York--Later this month, the dazzling lights and new feel of Las Vegas will be sharply contrasted with history and storied jewels when the city hosts an antique and estate tradeshow.
The trade-only Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show is scheduled for May 29 to June 1 at the Paris Hotel.
The four-day show, which is organized by U.S. Antique Shows, gives the trade access to antique jewelry and watches and estate pieces -- brooches and cuffs from the 1700s and 1800s mix alongside Art Deco jewels from the 20s and 30s and Tiffany and Van Cleef pieces from the 1980s.
The show brings in nearly 400 exhibitors from more than 20 different countries and is, according to U.S. Antiques Shows, the largest trade-only show for antique jewelry.
“We’re thrilled to continue to host our event in Las Vegas and acquaint the trade community with today’s latest antique jewelry trends,” said Dan Darby, U.S. Antique Shows group show director. “We’ve made some notable improvements this year like refiguring the show’s floor plan to allow dealers an increase in booth size to showcase more of their merchandise.”
Show hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Thursday, May 29 to Saturday, May 31 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. Admission for all four days is $30 for those who pre-register, and $50 if purchased on site.
U.S. Antique Shows was purchased earlier this year by Emerald Expositions, a leading owner and operator of business-to-business tradeshows and related publications in the United States.
Emerald Expositions also owns National Jeweler, along with the JA New York and Couture shows.
