Elyse Walker Hosting Live Spinelli Kilcollin Ring-Building
Shoppers can see jewelers assemble their custom rings in-person at the month-long workshop feting the retailer’s 20 years in business.

Los Angeles—Retail empire-in-the-making Elyse Walker has come a long way in two decades of business and is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special event that brings the fine jewelry-making process up-close and personal for customers.
This month, fellow Angeleno brand Spinelli Kilcollin has taken over the high-end retailer’s flagship store in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood, literally setting up shop with a live customization workshop.
With the help of a Spinelli Kilcollin associate, shoppers can design a custom version of the brand’s signature linked ring, choosing their desired combination of metals and stones, then watch a bench jeweler assemble, solder and polish the rings on-site.
“We’ve been dreaming about doing this interactive pop-up shop for several years, and Elyse was immediately on board and excited,” explained Yves Spinelli, one half of the husband-and-wife team that runs the fine jewelry company.
“There’s a lot of great synergy between our brands … Elyse has understood our aesthetic from day one, and has been such a huge supporter.”

Embodying the retail-as-an-experience concept, customers can walk out of the store with their very own custom piece.
Should the array of possibilities present decision fatigue, shoppers can turn instead to the Elyse Walker Spinelli Kilcollin seven-piece capsule collection of rings, necklaces and earrings priced between $2,400 and $11,500.
The live jewelry workshop is a creative way to mark Walker’s two decades in business.
Her eponymous store opened in October in a 900-square-foot space. Today, she has a 7,000-square-foot store stocked with designers like Gucci, Saint Laurent and The Row.
In 2016, the business added a second store in Newport Beach and is now focusing on a more casual, luxury basics store concept, Towne by Elyse Walker, with locations in Pacific Palisades, Bel Air, Newport Beach, and in 2020, Calabasas.

The company’s reach goes far beyond Southern California, however.
In 2012, it partnered with online retailer Fwrd.com, with Walker acting as the fashion director and face of the e-commerce company. This year, as part of the Revolve Group Inc., Forward by Elyse Walker, went public.
Brick-and-mortar Elyse Walker stores have a focus on personal styling, and will introduce a new website later this month to further that business in the digital space.
The company picked up Spinelli Kilcollin in 2015 and stocks other designers such as Melissa Kaye, Sylva & Cie,
