Chouette Designs To Launch Collection Celebrating All Types of Love
Our Pride Month Piece of the Week, the “Margaux” ring, is part of the wife-and-wife team’s new “Lovestoned” collection.

The wife-and-wife team known for its size-inclusive jewelry created the collection to offer options for partners, for individuals honoring personal milestones, and for anyone choosing to celebrate love on their own terms, they said.
“Our community has always taught us that love isn’t one-size-fits-all,” said Ashley McGinty, founder and designer of Chouette Designs.
“With Lovestoned, we wanted to capture the joy, nuance, and individuality of real relationships—romantic, platonic, queer, self-committed, and everything in between. These pieces are intended to be worn everyday and to feel deeply personal to the wearer.”
The collection features 15 styles that blend contemporary design with vivid storytelling.
Each design will be made to order with the client’s desired center stone.
Samples are available in a wide range of sizes at the brand’s studio in San Diego, California, for clients to try on before ordering.
Within these styles is the Margaux ring, our Piece of the Week, seen above in 14-karat yellow gold with about 0.46 carats of mixed-cut diamonds in a halo around an emerald-cut center stone.
The ring’s name comes from Chouette Designs’ French heritage and was inspired by its design story.
“Margaux was inspired by 1920’s opulence and the Art Deco movement,” said McGinty.
While the ring is shown with an emerald-cut diamond as the suggested center stone, the brand also noted that a radiant- or elongated cushion-cut—two shapes that were highlighted in National Jeweler’s engagement ring trend story for 2026—would look great in the setting.
The Margaux ring is available in 14-karat yellow, white, and rose gold. Not including the center stone, the natural diamond version retails for $4,085, and the lab-grown diamond version is $3,120.
The brand said it created the Lovestoned collection for anyone who has ever felt othered or intimidated when jewelry shopping.
The idea came to them after noticing that their largest request is creating one-of-a-kind custom engagement rings typically for LGBTQ+ couples.
“We want people to feel comfortable being themselves when they shop with us,” said McGinty.
The collection retails from $1,425 to $4,260, not including center stones, and launches on June 18.
It will be available at the Chouette Designs studio and on the brand’s website.
To celebrate the collection, Chouette Designs will be hosting a launch party on June 18 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the San Diego Made Factory at 2031 Commercial Street in San Diego.
“Lovestoned: A Night of Inclusivity in the Wedding Industry” will feature local cultural tastemakers like DJ Ducky, live screen printing from Sunsets and Brainwaves, and an industry panel.
The panel will discuss inclusivity in the wedding industry.
The panelists are McGinty; wedding stylist and body positivity activist Alysia Cole; Sara DeSilva, director of sales and events at San Diego Made; creative Jordan Daniels; and Averi Linch, founder and creative director of Jasper + Lane Events.
