New York--Jewelers of America has announced that it will continue its education webinar series this spring.
The series will cover a number of topics over the next few months, including improving sales techniques and search engine optimization.
JA’s webinars are part of its educational initiative, designed to educate staff and, further, continue its mission of improving consumer confidence in the fine jewelry industry, the association said.
“Jewelers of America’s webinar series is an informative educational resource for JA members that helps to improve skills, marketing strategies, business management and more. The webinar series will continue to focus on key topics that affect jewelers in their daily business practices,” Director of Public Affairs and Education Susan Thea Posnock said.
On Thursday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. EST, JA will host “Secret Weapon Selling,” presented by Joy Baldridge, president of Baldridge Seminars International. The session will cover the “art of persuasion,” how to successfully close sales, innovative listening, strategic questioning and what it takes for a store to have its best year yet.
The following webinar, “SEO in Local Markets,” is slated for Thursday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m. It will be presented by Alex Fetanat, founder and CEO of GemFind, and will delve into techniques to make one’s store more prominent in search engine results in its local market.
