Two Northeastern Retailers Offering Valentine’s Day Packages
Steven Singer Jewelers is offering a decadent dessert filled with diamonds while Northeastern Fine Jewelry will give a restaurant gift card to shoppers.

New York--Valentine’s Day is nearly here, and a couple jewelry retailers have partnered with restaurants to entice customers this holiday.
Philadelphia’s Steven Singer Jewelers has partnered with a restaurant in the city, Moshulu, to offer an extravagant Valentine’s Day experience for customers that includes a pair of 5.78-carat diamond earrings.
The experience starts with a dessert that consists of a large chocolate sphere with a golden chocolate hammer, crafted by pastry chef Sandy Valentine. When guests crack open the sphere with the hammer, they will find inside a pair of earrings featuring 5.78 total carats of near colorless, brilliant round and pear diamonds valued at $50,000.
The dessert has to be pre-ordered and pre-paid by the customer. It’s available from Feb. 9 to 17.
“We love to be a little bit over the top and have some fun,” said Steven Singer, owner of the eponymous store. “It will certainly be the ultimate Valentine’s Day surprise when someone orders it.”
Northeastern Fine Jewelry, meanwhile, is offering its Glen Falls, New York, shoppers a chance to have a romantic dinner in the Adirondacks.
Customers who spend $99 at the Glen Falls store from Feb. 5 to Feb. 14 will receive a complimentary $50 gift card to the Log Jam restaurant in Lake George, New York.
The Valentine’s Day package is available exclusively at the Northeastern Fine Jewelry store at 167 Glen Street in Glens Falls, which just opened in January.
Northeastern also said one guest dining at the restaurant on Valentine’s Day will randomly be chosen to receive an 18-karat white gold and diamond flower pendant necklace from the retailer valued at $1,500.
The company has three other stores across New York.
