Colorado Bench Jeweler Celebrates 50 Years With Local Retailer
Lori Tucker started at Williams Jewelers when she was 18 years old.

Tucker started working with the Colorado store on June 13, 1975, when she was 18 years old.
The family-owned and operated store has served the Denver area since 1947.
Her journey is a testament to passion, skill, and commitment, the retailer said.
She was initially interested in sales, but later, mentored by then-bench jeweler Steve Williams, embarked on an apprenticeship.
Within seven months, Tucker transitioned to a full-time bench jeweler.
She took the reins of the shop, the jeweler said, becoming “an indispensable part of the store’s heart.”
“I credit my skills to the many talented jewelers who worked with me through the years,” Tucker said.
When Tucker first started at Williams Jewelers, the store was operating with one other employee and three members of the Williams family.

The “Ma and Pa” jewelry store has since grown into its current 13,000-square-foot free-standing building with 38 employees, including the owners.
“Lori is more than just an employee; she’s family,” said Shaina Williams, president and third-generation owner of Williams Jewelers.
“Her unwavering dedication and exceptional skills and craftsmanship have been instrumental in our growth and success over the past five decades. We are incredibly fortunate to have her.”
While working at Williams Jewelers, Tucker married and raised four children. Her daughter Jessica also joined the business as a bench jeweler.
Tucker’s milestone anniversary at Williams Jewelers is a remarkable achievement, the retailer said, showcasing not only her talent as a bench jeweler but also her profound impact on the store’s legacy.
